Hitting the Road

Hey there! It's been a long time since I've posted anything to my site but also, it's been a long time since I've had anything to write about! Like all of you, I spent the last year and few months in quarantine, and as such, didn't think I had much to talk about.

But FINALLY something is happening! A road trip of all road trips - my husband and I (and two dogs - adopting them has been it's own special adventure) are leaving for a road trip across the country. We're heading all the way to Seattle for a very special wedding. Not only is this the first vacation we've had since our honeymoon in December 2019 but it's also the biggest road trip I've ever taken. If you know me at all, you may be able to imagine the amount of anxiety running through my mind while trying to make all the plans and preparations that such a big trip requires. But you may also know that planning is amongst my favorite activities. So, my bags are packed, the camping gear is piled up in the living room ready to go into the car, and the dogs are wondering what in the world all the fuss is about.

I'm sharing this with you on one hand to say a long overdue hello and hope you're doing well and also to invite you to follow along as we make our way west and then back home again.

So for now, my friends, wish us luck and come back again for updates on our cross country adventures!
